TENAMYD PHARMA CORP. and 70-Year Development Journey
In the 1950s, pharmacist Bùi Đình Nam founded Tế Nam Y Dược (the predecessor of Tenamyd Pharmaceutical Corporation) and laid the groundwork for what would become Tenamyd Pharmaceutical Corporation. During its early years, by obtained authorized manufacturing licenses from Abbott (USA) and Yaron (USA), Tenamyd produced a wide range of antibiotics and pharmaceuticals, including Kanamycin, Hydrocortisone, Streptomycin, and Penicillin. The company also represented famous international pharmaceutical brands such as Lisa Pharma, Lepetit, Pierrel, and Carlo Erba. In 2015, Tenamyd proudly became the first Vietnamese pharmaceutical company to be certified with the EU-GMP standard for its sterile Cephalosporin injectable powder manufacturing line. Nowadays, Tenamyd continues to grow as a trusted and reputable name in Vietnam’s pharmaceutical sector and is highly regarded by both domestic and international partners for their quality, as well as dedication in the workplace.
